November 2023 Tiger PRIDE Champions

LCSC believes all students need to master work ethic skills in order to reach their full potential. The goal of PRIDE is to build students of strong character who will strengthen our school district and positively impact the community.

PRIDE describes the fundamental expectations of students at all LCSC schools:

  • Persistence: Student is able to persevere through challenges and problem-solve.
  • Respectfulness: Student accepts and demonstrates service to others, possesses a positive attitude and communicates clearly.
  • Initiative: Student is a self-starter and a critical thinker
  • Dependability: Student is reliable and demonstrates responsibility and teamwork. Student also demonstrates academic readiness.
  • Efficiency: Student is organized, punctual and demonstrates self-management.

The following students were nominated and selected as the November 2023 Tiger PRIDE Champions: 

Mason Crew
 
Mason Crew– Lebanon High School
Nominated by Mrs. Scott and Mrs. Langebartels

Mason's remarkable achievements both on and off the field exemplify the core values of PRIDE. As a three-sport athlete who most recently closed out the football season, Mason's dedication to his sports and his teammates is truly commendable. Even in the face of adversity, when he sustained an injury during sectional play, Mason's unwavering commitment was evident as he continued to support his teammates. He is a team leader and regularly encourages the underclassmen.
 
He uses his influence to create a positive environment for all. His resilience and perseverance are a testament to his exceptional persistence. In addition to his athletic achievements, Mason is actively involved in the Work-Based Learning internship program, where he is currently interning at Boone REMC. This experience demonstrates his initiative and commitment to gaining real-world skills and knowledge. As an office assistant, he is always helpful, witty, and a bright light in the day. Mason's outstanding contributions to our school community, both through his dedication to sports and his engagement in positive school culture, make him an outstanding representative of our school's PRIDE values.
 
 
 
Sydnie
 
Sydnie Starkey– Lebanon High School

Sydnie’s unwavering commitment to excellence and her ability to overcome challenges make her a true role model for her peers, whether it be on the volleyball court or in class. As a student office assistant, Sydnie consistently demonstrates a strong work ethic and respectful attitude towards everyone she encounters. She is trustworthy, dependable, and kind. She holds herself to a high standard and it shows when she interacts with students, parents, and our principals. Staff and students would agree that her character shines brightly everywhere she goes. Sydnie is a student that you can always count on and she is truly one of a kind! She displays qualities of a Tiger PRIDE champion every day.
 
 
 
Brooks 
 
Brooks Johnson– Lebanon Middle School

Brooks Johnson is a natural leader in the classroom, clubs, sports, and within the community. He is always respectful to his peers and takes the initiative to offer help to anyone that needs it to get the task done. Brooks’ dependable smile and positive attitude are evident as he takes on challenges in each class. He pursues and achieves excellence in all that he does. Brooks Johnson fulfills all the PRIDE criteria that LCSC hopes to instill in every student. Thank you Brooks for making our school a better place.
 
 
 
Allie 
 
Allie Beech– Lebanon Middle School

The Bulldog team is proud to choose Allie Beech as our PRIDE student. Allie has demonstrated an
exemplary work ethic this year, and she has sought out extra opportunities to challenge herself. In addition, she shows concern for other students by volunteering to help struggling students when needed. Allie continually strives to produce high-quality work and to be helpful to others. Congratulations, Allie!
 
 
 
Harper
 
Harper Robison– Central Elementary

Central is proud to nominate Harper Robison for our November Tiger PRIDE Champion. Harper is not only an outstanding student, but she is also a fantastic role model for her peers. Harper is extremely persistent. She never quits, especially when she faces challenges. All of her classmates can see that she lives out her mission daily. Her personal mission statement is, “Don’t give up. Keep trying!” And she continues to keep on trying. She is always kind and respectful to others. Harper puts first things first and manages her time well. In fact, the day after her group planned the supplies she needed to bring to
build their Native American home, she came to school early the very next day to drop them off. She had the materials in nearly a week early! Harper takes initiative and she actively participates in class. Central is lucky to have Harper as a leader of our school and a leader on the Student Lighthouse Team. Congratulations, Harper!
 
 
 
Lizzie Lincoln– Harney Elementary

Lizzie has been selected as Harney's Tiger PRIDE Champion because of her exemplary behavior and positive attitude. Because of her hard work and dedication to her studies, Lizzie earned straight As for the first quarter. Fifth graders do hard things, and Lizzie puts forth a great amount of effort to maintain the high standards she has set for herself. Lizzie is in every way a PRIDE Champion, and Harney is extremely proud of her!

 

Stanley 

Stanley Serna– Hattie B. Stokes

Stanley is an exceptional role model in the classroom. He is a very responsible young man. He works hard to earn the respect of his fellow classmates and the staff here at Hattie B Stokes. He values education and knows the importance of using it to be successful in his future endeavors.
 
 
Winry 
 
Winry Williams– Perry-Worth Elementary

Winry has consistently demonstrated the attributes of Persistence, Respectfulness, Initiative,Dependability, and Efficiency throughout her time in class.

In terms of “Persistence,” Winry has shown an unwavering commitment to her academic and personal growth. She tackles challenges with determination and never shies away from difficult tasks. This tenacity has not only allowed her to excel but has also set a commendable example for her peers.

Winry's “Respectfulness” is both admirable and appreciated by everyone around her. She consistently treats both fellow students and staff with kindness, courtesy, and consideration. Her positive attitude and willingness to engage respectfully with others make our class environment more welcoming and harmonious.

In the realm of “Initiative,” Winry truly shines. She takes the lead in various situations, demonstrating a proactive and innovative spirit. Her willingness to initiate help and support to others reflects her commitment to the well-being of the school community.

One of Winry's most outstanding qualities is her “Dependability.” She is one of the most reliable students Mr. Christopher has had the privilege of working with. Whether it's submitting assignments promptly, assisting a classmate, or taking on additional responsibilities, Winry consistently exceeds expectations.

“Efficiency” is another hallmark of Winry's character. Her ability to manage time, resources, and tasks is truly impressive. Winry consistently remains on task and maintains a high level of productivity, making her an invaluable asset to our class environment.
