LHS Student, Emma Hornbecker, Recognized as National Merit Semifinalist

Lebanon High School proudly announces that one of their outstanding students, Emma Hornbecker, has been recognized as a National Merit Semifinalist. Emma is one of 16,000 students nationwide to receive this distinguished honor. 

The National Merit Scholarship Program identifies and honors high school seniors who have demonstrated exceptional academic ability and potential for success in rigorous college studies. Emma's achievement as a Semifinalist speaks to her dedication and perseverance in pursuing academic excellence. 

Mr. Frank Meyer, Principal of Lebanon High School, commended Emma's achievement, stating, "It is a testament to her hard work and commitment to her education that she was able to achieve this remarkable milestone. We are incredibly proud of Emma and her accomplishments." 

The National Merit Scholarship Program is an academic competition that recognizes students for their exceptional performance on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). Semifinalists are selected based on their scores on this exam, placing them in the top 1% of high school students nationwide.
