Kristen Scott Named LHS Assistant Principal

Lebanon Community School Corporation (LCSC) is proud to announce that Mrs. Kristen Scott has been selected as one of the new Assistant Principals of Lebanon High School (LHS). The LCSC Board of Trustees voted unanimously to hire Scott at their regular meeting on August 15.

With a rich history in education and a strong commitment to student success, Kristen will be a valuable addition to the school's administrative team.

Having joined Lebanon Community School Corporation in 2006 as an Agriculture Science and Business teacher, Kristen has demonstrated a dedication to educational excellence. Kristen's journey continued to flourish as she assumed the role of Career Engagement Coordinator in 2015, where she has championed bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world applications through the Work-Based Learning internship program.

Kristen and her husband Ryan reside in southern Clinton County. The Scott’s are proud parents to two daughters, Mari and Tynlee. Beyond her professional achievements, Kristen values family time, enjoys a good book, or cheering for the Purdue Boilermakers.

As she steps into her new role, Kristen is poised to further cultivate an environment characterized by inclusiveness and collaboration. Drawing from her background as both a teacher and Career Engagement Coordinator, she brings an understanding of students’ evolving needs, ensuring their preparedness for both academic and professional pursuits.

Mr. Frank Meyer, LHS Principal shares:

“Kristen Scott bleeds black and gold. She has an affinity with students and staff, and her experiences at the building and district level make her an ideal choice to join an already formidable leadership team at LHS. I am thrilled to see what Kristen will accomplish at LHS.”

In her new role, Mrs. Scott will continue to foster an environment of inclusivity and collaboration. Her prior experiences as a teacher and Career Engagement Coordinator have equipped her with insights into the evolving needs of students, ensuring they are well-prepared for their academic and professional journeys.

"I am humbled and honored by the opportunity to contribute to Lebanon High School in this capacity," shared Scott. "I am enthusiastic about collaborating with our dedicated staff and engaged students as we uphold the legacy of excellence while exploring fresh avenues for growth."

Frank Meyer (Principal), Bill Gee (Assistant Principal), Jeremy Rodibaugh (Assistant Principal), and Kristen Scott (Assistant Principal) will make up the leadership team at Lebanon High School.
