The Lebanon Community School Corporation (LCSC) Board of Trustees has approved Superintendent Dr. Jon Milleman’s recommendation to appoint Mr. Chad Salsman as the Director of Special Education. Mr. Salsman will join the Central Office Leadership Team as part of this role.

LCSC has valued its long-standing partnership with Special Education Joint Services, but the district looks forward to bringing this position in-house to further enhance special education services across all schools. Mr. Salsman brings extensive experience and a deep commitment to supporting students with exceptional needs. Over the past year, he has served as LCSC’s Supervisor of Exceptional Learning, and prior to that, he was the Assistant Principal at Central Elementary. His dedication to student success and belief that everyone can be extraordinary make him a strong leader for this transition.

Mr. Salsman will officially begin his role as Director of Special Education on July 1, 2025, and will spend the coming months working closely with district leadership to ensure a smooth transition.
