Each month, LCSC administrators nominate classified employees who go above and beyond in their roles, contributing to a positive impact across our district. This month, we’re excited to recognize two outstanding employees: Pam Burpo and Isaak Hunckler. 

"Pam Burpo has been a dedicated educator at LCSC, teaching mostly 4th and 5th graders at Harney Elementary before transitioning to preschool and now serving as an ML instructor at Hattie B. Stokes. In her third year at HBS, Pam goes above and beyond to welcome new students, many experiencing school in America for the first time. She works closely with teachers to ensure every student feels supported and included. We’re so grateful to have her at HBS!”

"Isaak has been an outstanding addition to the LHS technology team. Since joining last spring, he has greatly improved operations, from student iPad distribution to classroom Apple TVs and building monitors. While he provides exceptional support to staff, his focus on students stands out— whether helping a family locate a child or guiding a student in using their iPad responsibly. Isaak approaches every task with kindness, making him an invaluable part of our team.”
