LCSC Breaks Ground on New Central Elementary School

Lebanon Community School Corporation is excited to announce the groundbreaking of the highly anticipated Central Elementary School. This groundbreaking marks a significant step forward in providing our community with state-of-the-art educational facilities to nurture the growth and success of our students.

Located at the intersection of John Bart Rd and Fordice Rd, the new Central Elementary School will be a cornerstone of educational excellence in Lebanon, with room for growth to accommodate over 600 students.

Key Features of the New Central Elementary School Include:

  • 6 Kindergarten Classrooms
  • 4 classrooms for each grade level (1-5)
  • 3 flex classrooms
  • 4 resource Special Education (SPED) classrooms
  • Additional small group instruction and student support flex spaces, and conference spaces
  • Dedicated STEM Lab, Music Room, and Visual Arts Classroom

Superintendent, Dr. Jon Milleman expressed his gratitude saying, “We are proud to take this next step in fulfilling our promise to the LCSC community that all elementary students, regardless of their address, will be afforded a modern, high quality educational environment. The support of our community, through successful passage of a capital referendum, is why we are able to provide this generational positive change for decades to come.”

This renovation project has been made possible by our dedicated school board, Gibraltar Design, Meyer Najem, and our generous community members. The construction of the new Central Elementary School is part of a comprehensive initiative to enhance all elementary schools within Lebanon Community School Corporation. All elementary improvement projects, including the new Central Elementary School, are expected to be completed by August 2025.
