On Tuesday, February 21, the LCSC School Board was presented design images of the upcoming elementary renovations and improvements. The community can look forward to both Harney and Perry-Worth undergoing some much-needed renovations, as well as the addition of a new elementary school. 

Dr. Jon Milleman, Superintendent shares:

“These elementary school designs represent high quality, modern facilities that were the centerpiece of our promise to our community during the recent capital referendum. We will continue to commit ourselves to fulfilling our promises to our community and provide learning environments where our students can learn and grow.”

NEW ELEMENTARY
The new Elementary school will be located at the intersection of John Bart Rd and Fordice Rd. It will allow for growth with a 600+ student capacity, including the addition of classrooms for each grade level (K-5), additional small group instruction and student support flex spaces, two resource SPED classrooms, and more. HARNEY ELEMENTARY
Harney Elementary updates include the addition of classrooms for future growth (K-5), additional small group instruction and student support flex spaces, expanded main office and cafeteria, new gymnasium and stage, relocation of the SRO office, new bus parking lot, and more. See interior and exterior images below. 

PERRY-WORTH ELEMENTARY
Similarly, Perry-Worth will be undergoing many of the same renovations as Harney. Some of their updates include the addition of classrooms (K-5), additional small group instruction and student support flex spaces, main office renovation, new kitchen and expanded cafeteria, relocation of the SRO office, additional parking, and more. These high-quality updates and additions will help us to improve our safety and security, modernize the way we educate our students, and provide generations of future Tigers new and greater possibilities.
