LCSC Announces New Director of Communications

Lebanon Community School Corporation is excited to announce the hiring of Lexy Britt-Buis as the new Director of Communications. As Director of Communications, Lexy will be responsible for managing the district’s internal and external communications strategy and activities.

Dr. Jon Milleman, Superintendent shares:

 “We are very excited to welcome Lexy Britt-Buis to LCSC. It is wonderful to be able to add another Lebanon High School graduate to our team. I am confident her positive energy will be obvious to everyone as she shares our story with our community.”

Lexy is a proud Lebanon Tiger Alumni who comes to LCSC with experience working within the Boone County community. As the Communications Manager at the Town of Whitestown, Lexy was responsible for managing the town’s internal and external communications through social media, e-newsletters, and various other platforms. With her background in visual communication design, Lexy helped to attract businesses, residents, and visitors through engaging communication methods that made an impact and created a sense of community pride.

Previously, Lexy was the Marketing and Communications Specialist at the Boone County Chamber. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication Design from Indiana University Purdue University, Indianapolis (IUPUI).

Lexy describes herself as a dynamic and engaging communicator who has deep-seated roots in the Lebanon community. “I am excited to join LCSC during such an exciting time of growth,” she stated, “Lebanon is and always has been my home. I am so passionate about our community and I genuinely believe there is no better place to live, work, play, and get an education. I am excited to get the opportunity to give back to the community that has given me so much. You know what they say, “Once a Tiger, Always a Tiger!”

Dr. Milleman made his recommendation of hire to the Board of Trustees at their regular meeting on February 21, 2023. Ms. Britt-Buis’s first day will be February 27, 2023.
