Celebrating Rick Ellis: 25 Years of Dedication to Lebanon Tigers Athletics

Rick Ellis and Family

Lebanon Community School Corporation proudly celebrated Rick Ellis for his remarkable 25 years of service as the announcer for Varsity Football games at Lebanon High School (LHS), starting in 1998. Rick has decided to retire after this season, making his last regular season varsity game announcement on Friday, October 6.

Throughout his illustrious tenure, Rick exhibited an unwavering commitment and dedication to LHS Athletics. Rain or shine, in sickness and health, amidst challenging weather conditions - Rick's steadfast presence and distinctive radio voice have left an indelible mark on the Lebanon High School community.

Not only did Rick serve as the master of ceremonies for homecomings, senior nights, and LMS and Youth Football nights, but he also generously dedicated his free time to announce LHS and LMS Track and Field meets. Rick's authoritative voice and deep understanding of the game made him the one and only true PA Voice of LHS.

Lebanon Community School Corporation extends our heartfelt appreciation to Rick Ellis for his quarter-century of tireless service to LHS Athletics. Rick's remarkable contribution to the school, his passion for sports, and his ability to bring excitement and joy to the games will be missed by all. We wish him the very best in his well-deserved retirement!

Thank you, Rick, for being an integral part of the LHS athletic legacy.
