Lebanon Community School Corporation (LCSC) is excited to announce a series of significant building projects that will enhance the educational landscape of the community. These projects encompass renovations to existing facilities and the construction of new structures, all of which will contribute to the ongoing development of the Lebanon Middle School campus and the area at the intersection of John Bart Road and Fordice Road.

The comprehensive plans include substantial renovations to Lebanon Middle School, featuring innovative building additions to accommodate the evolving needs of students and educators. Additionally, LCSC will establish a state-of-the-art Transportation Center, optimizing logistical operations, and a brand-new elementary school designed to create a dynamic learning environment.

To engage the community and provide comprehensive information about these transformative projects, LCSC invites all interested community members to join us for a Community Meeting scheduled for September 14, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. at the Herman B. Wells Community Center. 

Representatives from the City of Lebanon will also be present at the meeting to discuss planned road improvements and projects that will connect with the LCSC projects. 

The key objectives of the Community Meeting are as follows:

• Presentation of Plans and Designs: LCSC will share the most current architectural designs and plans for each facility, including location and traffic flow to and from each facility. 
• Allow community members to engage with the architects, engineering teams, and LCSC officials: Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with the architects and engineering teams responsible for these projects, allowing for discussions and clarifications to questions. 
• Q&A Session with Design Teams and School Administration: LCSC officials, in collaboration with the design teams, will address questions and concerns from the community, fostering transparency and open communication.
• Project Timeline Overview: A tentative timeline for each project will be shared, including expected completion dates.
