Lebanon Community School Corporation is proud to announce that Mr. Michael Reynolds has been selected as the new Assistant Director of Transportation. The LCSC Board of Trustees voted unanimously to hire Reynolds at their regular meeting on August 15. 

Building upon his rich educational background and extensive experience, Michael is poised to bring his exceptional leadership and dedication to his new responsibilities. With a Bachelor of Science in Education from Indiana University, a Masters in Education from Indiana Wesleyan University, and completion of the Principal Licensure Program at Indiana Wesleyan University, Michael has consistently demonstrated his commitment to personal growth and professional development.

Michael's educational journey began as a Social Studies Teacher and Assistant Basketball Coach at Frankfort High School, where he honed his skills in fostering academic excellence and mentoring students. His tenure at Frankfort High School, spanning from 2003 to 2012, is marked by his unwavering dedication to student success.

In 2012, Michael's talents led him to Lebanon High School as one of the Assistant Principals. Notably, he spearheaded innovative initiatives such as the implementation of the 1:1 technology program and the integration of the Canvas learning management system. Michael's commitment extended to ensuring the health, safety, and security of the school community.

Now, as he steps into the role of Assistant Director of Transportation, Michael is set to bring his expertise and leadership to the realm of school transportation. His strong organizational skills, dedication to safety, and collaborative spirit position him well to lead and enhance the transportation department's operations. His background in education and administration will undoubtedly contribute to creating a seamless and efficient transportation experience for students, parents, and staff throughout LCSC.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Michael is an engaged community leader, serving as the Chairperson of the Boone County 4th of July Committee, a member of the Boone County Board of Health, and a valuable board member for the Lebanon Educational Foundation.
