Interested in Becoming a Substitute Teacher?

We are currently adding to our team of substitute teachers!

All substitute teachers must complete a criminal background screening at their own expense prior to beginning employment.

If you are interested in becoming a substitute teacher, please follow these steps:

1. Submit an application: Use Applitrack to complete the application, making sure to check "Substitute Teacher" in Step 4: Position Desired. After submitting your application, you will be contacted with information about completing your background check.
2. Request background screening: Follow the directions provided to request an Expanded Background Check and Child Protection Check. You are responsible for payment*.
3. Attend a substitute informational session: After requesting your background screening, you will be contacted to attend an upcoming informational session for substitute teachers. You will not be able to accept a job until your background screening is complete.
4. Accept a job: Use the information provided at your substitute informational session to begin accepting jobs. We're happy to have you!

*Occasionally, some individuals require a further review at an additional cost. You will be notified of the fee during the screening process.
