Tiger Cubs Pre-K

• Full day program following LCSC calendar with before and after school care available 
• Research-based curriculum, creative arts, and structured play aligned with Indiana Academic Standards
• Licensed elementary teacher and an instructional assistant in each classroom– 1:11 maximum adult/student ratio
• Full-time Principal and on-site nurse and school resource officer
• School meals available 
• Available in two locations in our modernized facilities at the former Central Elementary (Williams St) and Perry-Worth Elementary

Children must be four years old by August 1st in order to attend preschool. Contact Rick Hunt at huntr@leb.k12.in.us regarding the process of considering an early enrollment application for children who will be four years old by September 1st.

Non-Refundable Registration Fee:
 A $100 non-refundable registration fee is expected at the time of registration unless otherwise noted (April 10, 2026). The registration fee will be applied to the 1st week's tuition fees. 

Full Day Preschool:
Base Tuition: $190.00 per week (39 weeks)
LCSC Staff: 10% discount

Financial Assistance Available: 
Families must submit a request for financial assistance on the interest application and/or contact the Preschool Principal to be considered for financial assistance. Proof of financial need will be required. Tuition tiers based on financial need will be:

• Level 1: $130.00 per week
• Level 2: $110.00 per week

Consumables Fee:
There will be a $50 consumables fee per semester for all children enrolled in Tiger Cubs Preschool programs. The Consumable Fee is due with the first payment of each semester. 

Lebanon Community School Corporation believes high-quality preschool should be accessible to families across our community. As part of this commitment, LCSC is using voter approved Operating Referendum dollars to help support tuition assistance and scholarship opportunities for Tiger Cubs Pre-K families.

Through these efforts, LCSC will be providing tiered scholarship opportunities for eligible families, reducing overall preschool costs based on individual family need. Families who indicated a need for financial assistance on their Interest Application will be considered for the LCSC provided scholarships and for future funds as they become available. These families will be contacted by the Tiger Cubs Pre-K team.

LCSC has also adjusted the Tiger Cubs Club Before and After Care pricing to ensure the fees provide a more accessible option for extended childcare.

Yes, your child must be potty trained to be accepted into the Tiger Cubs Pre-K program.

Tiger Cub Club is before and after school care for our Pre-K students and is run by our Pre-K staff.

Tiger Cubs Pre-K uses a high-quality curriculum, McGraw-Hill World of Wonders. This thematic, play-based curriculum is aligned with Indiana’s Early Learning Standards and places a strong emphasis on early literacy and numeracy, STEM learning, and the development of essential early learning skills.

Based on feedback from families and the broader Lebanon community, we heard clearly that families need to know their enrollment status earlier than originally planned. Many families are navigating timelines across multiple early learning programs, and having clarity sooner is essential for making informed decisions. In response to this feedback, we have adjusted our enrollment process to better support families.

All students who have already submitted an Interest Application for a Tiger Cubs Pre-K seat will be enrolled in the program. Families who have completed this step will be notified directly of their acceptance and will receive next steps and directions for officially enrolling their child.

Moving forward, enrollment will be offered on a first come, first placed basis. We will continue to use the Interest Application as our initial enrollment form, allowing us to confirm campus placement and seat availability prior to final acceptance.

Once your enrollment is confirmed, a link to the BrightWheel student information system will be sent for families to complete the formal enrollment application. At the time of official enrollment, a deposit will be due. Because deposits were originally planned for March, we understand that some families may need additional time. A grace period will be available for families with individual needs, and we encourage you to reach out if this applies to your family.

No, Tiger Cubs Pre-K is open to all families, both within LCSC boundaries and outside the district.
