Kindergarten Students

 

Incoming Kindergarten Students

Children are eligible for kindergarten if their fifth birthday falls on or before August 1, 2026. Students who will be five years old on or before October 1, 2026, may apply for early entrance to kindergarten in accordance with Board Policy #5112.

Families new to LCSC should complete the New Student Enrollment form. If you already have children enrolled in the district, please log in to Skyward Family Access and complete the New Student Online Enrollment form there. If you need assistance, please contact your child's school. 

To see which school your student will attend in the fall of 2026, please visit the boundary map. Enter your address in the search bar to view the assigned school for your location. 

Kindergarten Early Entrance Application

The process includes screening each student to assess general development. Translation services will be available. 

Parents or guardians will need to schedule an appointment at the school the student will attend in the fall. Parents should plan to bring their kindergarten student to the appointment, along with the following required documentation:
