Mrs. Leckrone is beyond excited to begin her third year as principal at Central Elementary!  After 17 years in education, 14 of those spent in the elementary classroom, she still loves watching students learn and grow and is passionate about educating the whole child.  Originally from the west side of Indianapolis, she returned to Pike Township schools after graduating from Butler University and currently lives in Noblesville with her husband and three children. 

She loves reading children’s literature and shares this love with students of all ages.

Mrs. Leckrone’s educational philosophy revolves around doing what is best for the whole child and is excited to learn and lead alongside the incredible Central Elementary staff. 

Mrs. Bell joins Central Elementary from Noblesville East Middle School where she was dean of students for the last four years overseeing student services, restorative discipline practices, social-emotional learning, and schoolwide interventions and support. Before her administrative role in Noblesville, Gwen served in Carmel Clay Schools for nine years as a school improvement chair, team leader, and visual arts teacher at both the elementary and middle school levels. 

She completed her bachelor’s degree in education at Indiana University (IUPUI) and her master’s in educational administration at Butler University.

Mrs. Bell is thrilled to begin serving students and families in her community.
