Mrs. Leckrone is beyond excited to begin her first year as principal at Central Elementary!  After 17 years in education, 14 of those spent in the elementary classroom, she still loves watching students learn and grow and is passionate about educating the whole child.  Originally from the west side of Indianapolis, she returned to Pike Township schools after graduating from Butler University and currently lives in Noblesville with her husband and three children. 

She loves reading children’s literature and shares this love with students of all ages.

Mrs. Leckrone’s educational philosophy revolves around doing what is best for the whole child and is excited to learn and lead alongside the incredible Central Elementary staff. 

Hello Central Tiger Cubs and Families!

I am starting my 5th year as Assistant Principal at Central Elementary!  Before I was AP here at Central, I spent 15 years teaching special education at the middle school level in Pike Township, IPS, and Noblesville Schools.  In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, playing many different sports (basketball, soccer, golf), and singing!  I have been married 16 years to my wife, Beth, who is a teacher in Westfield Washington Schools.  I have two kids, Ava (12) and CJ (9).

 I have a passion for creating an environment where everyone is welcome and ALL are learning.  

Here at Central we believe that everyone can lead and that everyone has genius!  Standing on the strong foundation of Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Central is positioned to meet each student where they are and grow them as learners and as individuals.
