The Young Scholars Preparatory Pre-Kindergarten (YSPP) is operated by Mental Health America of Boone County housed at Hattie B. Stokes Elementary and Perry-Worth Elementary. 

The YSPP program is a play-based, hands-on academic program designed to prepare students for a successful transition into kindergarten. Students learn and practice school procedures, engage in outdoor play and field trips, and follow Indiana Department of Education's Foundations for Early Learning.

The YSPP program follows the LCSC Elementary Handbook.
