The Leader in Me
Central Elementary is proud to be a Leader in Me School! We have a great staff of enthusiastic, creative and talented teachers who are absolutely thrilled to be able to bring this incredible program based on The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey to your children at Central Elementary
As the school year gets underway, your child will be learning the 7 Habits language and what it means to apply these principles in their lives as students and leaders in our school and community.

Our Central staff believes in the leadership potential in ALL of our Central students. Through "The Leader in Me" process we want to support our students in building cooperative relationships, nurture self-confidence and create critical thinkers who are goal oriented students and leaders of their own learning!
With the launch of "The Leader in Me" we are also leading the way in Boone County as the first elementary school to implement this program. THANK YOU to all of you who have been supportive of "The Leader in Me" program at Central, and more importantly, our vision of "Developing and Inspiring Student Leaders to Aim High*Reach High!"
