Math Bowl
Math Bowl competes at a state wide level on state standards grade 5 to 8. Teams are made up of 5th graders. Population of the school determines the “color” level we compete at. The team meets with Mrs. Faulkner for five weeks in Mar. & Apr. leading up to the Apr. competition which is always held in Thorntown, IN.
We meet after school on Tuesday and the competition is also on a Tuesday. To get involved you just need to be in 5th grade. Mrs. Faulkner hosts this in her room with Mrs. Frederick as the other coach. All students on the team will receive a ribbon.

Running Club
The Central Tiger Cubs love to get our run on! In the spring we gather after school one day a week to get up and get going in running club. Tiger Cubs run with our friends around our course and work to get as many laps as we can in 30 minutes. Each week we tally these laps and they accumulate throughout the 5-6 week season. Students earn “shoes” to go on their running club chain for miles ran. It’s a great time with our friends! Be sure to watch for information in the spring.
