Michele Thomas grew up in western Michigan and has lived in Lebanon since 2003. With a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and an M.A. from Indiana University, she has worked in university administration at Notre Dame and IU, as an English instructor at IU-Bloomington, as Executive Director of the Frankfort Education Foundation, and as copy editor and columnist at The Lebanon Reporter. Michele lives with her husband Steve Wornhoff and their three daughters, all students in the Lebanon schools. Community activities include being a cantor and youth group leader at St. Joseph Catholic Church and involvement with the Lebanon Swim Club. Her board responsibilities include sitting on the Boone County Redevelopment Commission. She served as PTO president at Central Elementary and is a regular volunteer in the schools.
