The vision of the Lebanon Community School Corporation is to insure a quality educational program for all students in a challenging and secure environment. We, as professional caring educators, will provide a rigorous integrated curriculum that is relevant to each learner. Indiana's Four Star Schools The Indiana Department of Education announced on January 13, 2010 the state's Four Star Schools List. Both Lebanon Middle School and Central Elementary School have been recognized as Four Star Schools. The Four Star School Award is based on attendance rates, student achievement and I-STEP+ performance.
One of America's Best High Schools In the Wednesday, January 13, 2010 issue of USNews & World Reports is the listing of America's Best High Schools, over 21,000 schools were considered throughout the United States. Lebanon High School is listed as one of the top 30 public high schools in the State of Indiana.
LCSC named “Exemplary School Corporation” by the Department of Education
Lebanon School Corporation was recognized as 1 of only 25 school corporations in the state of Indiana that
earned the “Exemplary” status as a result of the PL221 academic achievement results.
