Welcome to Central Elementary PTO! If you have a child enrolled in Central Elementary, you are an official member of the Parent Teacher Organization. The main goal of our PTO is involvement. We do sponsor some fundraisers throughout the year, but our main goal is offering free, quality family events. Last year we offered 4-H Enrichment Night, Night of the Arts, Family Fitness Night and the 1st annual Blood Battle, which is a friendly competition between the Lebanon Community School Corporation PTO’s. Our PTO also earned an honorable mention as a PTO Group of the Year through the PTO Today magazine.
PTO meetings will be held on the first Thursday of each month beginning at 6:30 p.m. Meetings will be held in the teacher's lounge. Meetings are open to all Central families.
Our magazine fundraiser is currently under way! This is our largest fundraiser of the year. Turn in dates will be: Wednesday, August 31st :: Wednesday, September 7th ::

Each month, the neon pink order form will come home with your child. Fill out the form, and return it with a check to your child’s teacher. Your gift cards will come home with your child. If these dates fall on a weekend, they’ll move to the following Monday.
Use the gift cards just like cash to purchase groceries, gas, food, gifts and home products!
Participating stores include: Kroger, Marsh/LoBill, Speedway, Marathon, Kohl’s, JC Penney, Circuit City, Staples, Arby’s, Pizza Hut, CVS, Walgreen’s, Macy’s, Barnes & Noble, Bath & Body Works, Starbucks, Lowe’s and many more!
SCRIP cards also make great gifts, and you can use them when you travel.
We’re working to get more locally-owned businesses involved! If you work at a locally-owned business that would like to participate, please let us know and we’ll get things rolling.
Order a Kroger card through SCRIP and refill it at any Kroger service desk when needed. Every time you shop with it, Central PTO gets 5%!
Remember, this is a program that involves no selling. We plan to keep the SCRIP program in place for a long time, and make it our primary fund-raiser. Many schools across the U.S. have had great results with SCRIP, and Central is the first school in Lebanon to use it. Tell your family, and they’ll be happy to buy SCRIP as well.
If you don’t want your SCRIP order sent home with your child, contact an officer to make alternate arrangements.
Do you have ideas for PTO? Come to a meeting, drop an e-mail to an officer, or leave a note in our mailbox in the office!
